Fresh off Arielle Jacobs’ casting as Jasmine in the Australian production of Aladdin, she and brother Adam Jacobs (who stars in the title role in the musical on Broadway) hit Feinstein’s/54 Below with their show Sibling Disobedience: Breaking the Rules on the Way to the Great White Way, in which they performed a song or two from Aladdin, among others.
In the exclusive “Broadway Lovers(?) Medley” they shared with Playbill, the Jacobs siblings take on songs that they’d never get to perform together in an actual show. Featuring direction by Alex Gemignani and musical direction by Jim Abbott, the band included Adam Kornreich (guitar), Jonny Morrow (bass) and Joe Nero (drums). Jenny Leon was the associate director, and Shoshana Feinstein produced.
